Licensed to practice Acupuncture (Needling Therapy) in California in 1983, Dr. Priebe specialized in the study and treatment of pain, and focused on treating neuromuscular injuries and disease especially Complex regional Pain Syndrome/ RSD in an interdisciplinary Pain and Rehabilitation Medical Group, Accredited Pain Program in Torrance California.
Dr. Priebe is a founding member and CEO of the National Oriental Medicine Accreditation Agency (NOMAA.org) creating a national standard for Doctor of Oriental Medicine (OMD) First-professional doctoral degree programs. Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology Applied Behavioral Analysis University of Phoenix.
Lifetime member- Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association.
In 1989, founded and served as Chairperson for the NBAO (National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics) and created the first specialty board with educational standards for Licensed Acupuncturist’s. First to be designated, Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), QME No. 914705, California, [Inactive] 1991 and served on the Utilization Review Committee, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Worker’s Compensation, State of California, 1993.
2001 - Appointed to the California Senate Business and Professions, Subcommittee; Complex regional Pain Syndrome/ RSD.
2001 - Appointed to the California Acupuncture Board, Education Task Force. Appointed as a member in 2005 to the Guidelines Evaluation Committee, California Division of Worker’s Compensation; 2007, Medical Evidence Evaluation Advisory Committee, Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Worker’s Compensation, State of California.
